Saatchi Gallery and Huawei have teamed up to present From Selfie to Self-Expression. This will be the world’s first exhibition exploring the history of the selfie from the old masters to the present day, and will celebrate the truly creative potential of a form of expression often derided for its inanity.

This selfie arose in my backyard while preparing another videoart. I visualize an inverted open universe where the Big Bang starts in the head and the inflation in time is downwards. The position of my arm and hand is on that location in time and space where life can exist. For me this is an absolute expression for being female in my own universe.
